Seed Starting Workshop

What better way to hold hope for Spring than to join me for a seed starting workshop?
We will go over the basics of seed starting & how to care from seedling to transplant. I can also do a demonstration on soil blocking if anyone is interested in a low waste alternative to seed starting. I will provide materials needed, including a seed starting tray, soil, and cut flower seeds. If you have some seeds you would like to ask questions about or would like to sow, please bring them along with you.
Each of you will go home with a tray of your own cut flower seed starts! I will also highlight lighting requirements & potting up. You will leave feeling ready to start your own cut flower patch! Hope to see you there!
What you will get:
One tray of seeds started during the workshop from a choice selection of easy to grow cut flowers for our area
A tour of the farm
A comprensive digital file about starting your own seeds developed by Terra Flower Farm
Light snacks and beverages
*Please bring your own gloves and wear attire that can get dirty. Weather permitting we will be in outside enjoying the sunshine!
*Non-alcoholic drinks will be provided, coffee and tea along with a selection of locally made pastries.
***Please note that due to being a very small buisness we cannot refund these workshops within 2 weeks of the event. If you cannot make the event, we will make sure we you have a potted up tray of seedlings availabe for pick up at a later date and the digital file all about seed starting, but CANNOT refund the full cost.
