Terra Flower Farm results from a deep-rooted passion for cultivating exquisite plants. Our owner, Kelly Garcia, honed her skills at the University of Georgia under the tutelage of renowned horticulturist, Dr. Allan Armitage. Her journey continued with full-time work in plant breeding and maintaining the perennial garden at the University of Georgia Trial Garden.  Since returning to the Chattanooga area, she has nurtured her love for plants and expressed her creativity through design.

We love growing in the mountains. We are traditionally 5-10 degrees cooler than the valley, which gives us a unique opportunity to grow different varieties and an extended harvest window. Over the last few years, we have added 2 greenhouses and will add a new field in 2024.

Our flowers are grown sustainably and with the lowest impact on our environment. The farm is growing slowly, and we are so excited about its future. We offer the freshest cut designs in town.

Don't hesitate to get in touch with us with any questions or inquiries about our farm or design.

Kelly recently co-wrote and supported Dr. Allan M Armitage in creating The Field Guide to Specialty Cut Flowers. This is a comprehensive guide that teaches flower farmers and home gardeners all about growing cut flowers, from propagation to harvesting.
